1950s – 1960s EARLY ABSTRACTIONS

During this time, R.A. Byrnes was introduced to New York’s vibrant art market right after receiving his MFA from Columbia University. This experience led to many exhibitions and friendships during the heat of the Abstract Expressionist movement.
